It's a common question... but the answer is simple...

Why bored piles? Why driven piles? Why shallow pads? Why ground improvement?

Rodney Appleby shares his epiphany moment... Sometimes you've got to have "been around" and experienced things going bad. Only then do you realise that in certain situations - some methodologies are simply far superior.... and the same is true with screw piles.

So now you just need to know "When are screw piles better than other methodologies?" And this is where our industry could still be better in recognising.
